MARINE COOKERY BIBLE

Malcolm Alder-Smith

Known to my friends in the yachting world as Malcy, I have been training newbies to work as interior crew for around five years. Classically trained as a chef by French, Italian and Swiss master chefs, I share my galley secrets with UKSA Marine Hospitality students in the kitchens of
The Isle of Wight College.

My passion is to feel that I have made a difference to people's lives
by sharing my expertise in and around the galley
.

BOOK REVIEW

Comment by superyacht chef and author
Victoria Allman

"What an all-encompassing book! And well needed. The extras of how to provision, cooking for different nationalities and catering to special diets are particularly relevant and something that many chefs are not taught in school or through their work in restaurants. It is a steep learning curve to come from being a chef in a restaurant to being responsible for all meals, for all peoples, every day. How wonderful to have help learning the ropes from Malcolm - This really is the Essential book for yacht chefs".
